The first question is always ‘What area of space flight interests you ?’, because the possibilities in astrophilately are almost innumerable.
Once this question is answered, we advise every beginning astrophilatelist to first properly document what he/she wishes to collect. There are many ways to do this and you will also find extensive documentation on this website under the Research section. Only then can you start looking where to buy covers : dealers, fairs, exhibitions, auctions, clubs, ... and you don't have to spend a lot of money to acquire nice covers and start your collection !

But always remember : the best way to become familiar with the world of astrophilately is to join one or more astrophilately clubs.
